Kbd

Keyboard

Kbd displays a key name. Keep it out of the tab order; your app handles the shortcut.

Semantics

Use key names that match the operating system. Provide another way to perform the same action without the shortcut.

Checklist

• Use key names that match the operating system and the actual shortcut.
• Explain the action beside the shortcut and provide another way to perform it.
• Do not make Kbd look like a clickable button or add it to the tab order.
